DESCRIPTION
Association of a corticoid antiinflammatory with a fast acting and systemic antihistamine for use by injectable route formulated based on Dexamethasone 21 Disodium phosphate and Chlorpheniramine maleate.

COMPOSITION

Dexamethasone, 21 disodium phosphate: 1 g.
Chlorpheniramine maleate: 2 g.
Excipients csp: 100 ml.

Anti-inflammatory corticosteroid systemic action. Antihistamine of systemic action. Antiallergic

INDICATIONS
Allergies in general, respiratory allergies, bronchospasm, bronchial asthma, allergic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, insect bites, allergic reactions, allergic food reactions, allergic drug reactions, anaphylactic shock.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
The use of corticosteroids is contraindicated in the presence of bacterial, mycotic and viral infections unless the corresponding anti-infective treatment is established in parallel.
Do not use in case of digestive ulcers, renal and / or hepatic insufficiency, congestive heart failure, osteoporosis, acute infosura, bone fractures, degenerative ocular disease, corneal ulcer, or in animals suffering from tuberculosis, paratuberculosis, uremic syndrome, diabetes mellitus, and glaucoma. Use with caution in patients with hypertension, cardiac ischemia, arrhythmia, tachycardia, and hyperthyroidism.
It should not be administered simultaneously with CNS depressants such as barbiturates, hypnotics, narcotic analgesics, sedatives and tranquilizers, potassium-depleting diuretics, or with other corticosteroids.
Do not use on animals that have shown hypersensitivity to the drugs that comprise it. Do not use in pregnant females in the last third of gestation. Do not administer intravenously.

RESTRICTIONS OF USE
Time that must elapse between the last day of treatment and the sacrifice of the animal for human consumption: cattle, sheep and pigs = 14 days.
Do not administer to dairy animals whose milk is destined for human consumption.
Do not administer to horses destined for human consumption.

EFECTOS COLATERALES Y REACCIONES ADVERSAS
Clorfeniramina puede provocar sequedad de mucosas, constipación, y disuria. Los animales pueden además presentar manifestar laxitud, somnolencia, sedación y en algunos casos incluso debilidad muscular.
El uso prolongado de Corticoides puede provocar síndrome de Cushing. Puede haber también retraso en la cicatrización de las heridas, predisposición a enfermedades infecciosas, agudización de diabetes mellitus, y retraso del crecimiento en animales jóvenes. En caninos puede observarse poliuria y polifagia, aumento de peso, cambios en el pelaje, vómitos, diarreas, euforia y cambios de conducta. Estos síntomas desaparecen al interrumpir el tratamiento.

DOSIFICACION
Bovinos: 1 ml cada 50 kg de peso vivo.
Porcinos: 1 ml cada 50 kg de peso vivo.
Ovinos: 1 ml cada 50 kg de peso vivo.
Equinos: 1 ml cada 50 kg de peso vivo.
Caninos y felinos: 0.2 ml cada 10 kg de peso vivo.kpv.
Observaciones:
La dosificación puede repetirse cada 24 horas durante 5 días consecutivos.
