GLICOPHOS X 100 CC
Glicophos is a metabolic regulator whose active ingredient, Sodium Glycerophosphate, provides a fundamental molecule in the transport of electrons from the respiratory chain. As is known, the generation of energy (ATP from ADP) occurs in the mitochondria. One of the coenzymes of oxidoreduction involved in this process, NADH fails to cross the mitochondrial membrane and enter the mitochondria, but the glycerophosphate that does cross this membrane easily, acts as a transporter of the cytoplasmic NADH electrons. This process is known as a shuttle.
In high intensity exercises, ATP requirements increase significantly. Unfortunately, it is not possible to directly administer energy in the form of ATP or UTP because these purine nucleotides are rapidly hydrolyzed in the body depriving the muscles of their use.
Glicophos, through Glycerophosphate, does increase the synthesis of ATP by 100% since there is total bioavailability of the 2 molecules of ATP that are generated with each mole of glycerophosphate.

INDICATIONS OF USE
Glycerophosphate is an endogenous substance that acts directly in the mitochondria of muscle fibers, generating energy and improving sports performance in this way. On the other hand, it increases the bioavailability of phosphorus to be used by the organism where required. Its use is recommended prior to competition to improve energy bioavailability at the muscular level. It is also used as a post-exercise energetic repository, especially in those animals that compete very frequently in order to limit energy recovery times after intense exercises.
ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOSES
The use of the intravenous route is recommended although the subcutaneous route can also be used. The dose is at a rate of 1 ml / 40 kg of body weight.
It is recommended a treatment not inferior to the 5 days of duration previous to the intense effort.
Glicophos does not present contraindications to the recommended dose.
